Essential Oil

Due perhaps to its prefix "aroma", a popular perception is that aromatherapy has resulted in dissemination of pleasant smells just for fun... Now the suffix "therapy" indicates that this is an approach to care - quite complex, actually - with aromatic essences of plants are the base. The name that has become common usage to speak of aromatic essences is essential oils.

As its name would indicate, the essential oils contain no fats such as vegetable oils obtained presses (sunflower oil, corn, sweet almond, etc...). This is the natural secretion produced by the plant and contained in the plant cells, either in the calyx, stem, bark or other plant part. The essential oil is obtained by distillation of the plant still. According oil desired, we will take all or part of a specific plant for extracted the quintessence, the biochemical structure to capture for medical or hygienic.

Our essential oils and floral waters are distilled our respecting the fundamental principles of Aromatherapy: botanically identified from plants, harvested at the most opportune and steam distilled water at atmospheric pressure. For aromatherapy use only natural essences suitable. Natural essences have specific molecular properties, impossible to recreate in the laboratory. Thus, the oil of lemon or lavender synthetic feel deliciously good, but have no real effect on your health, if only to get the well-being had a pleasant smell.

Tips for use an essential oil

Tip 1 : You must perform a skin test on the skin before any use. Put a little essential oil at the joint of your elbow and wait 1 hour to see if itching or redness develops.

Tip 2 - The bath : Put three to eight essential oil drops in your bath. Add them just before going into the bathroom and stay there at least 10 minutes.

Tip 3 - Inhalation : Put four drops in a bowl of hot water at the edge of boiling. Put a towel over your head and place this above the last bowl and make a tent with your towel to get cut from the air. Breathing steam a few minutes.

Tip 4 - Foot Bath : Put in a container 1 liter of warm water, then put five to seven drops of oil, soak your feet for about 10 minutes. Try the lemon or tea tree.

Tip 5 - Sprayer : Put twenty drops per 150 ml of water in a spray bottle to make a room spray, or add a drop or two to a basket of dried flowers.

Tip 6 - Bulb : Put a drop of oil on a hot bulb - do not do it with halogen lights.

Tip 7 - Oil massage : Use an 100% extra virgin oil or apricot oil. Try Aloe Vera and coconut oil for dry skin.
